The end of Sept has us heading up to Amarillo to visit some far away members and enjoy the Upper North Texas scenery (putting the North in the North Texas VOA)! There will be plenty to do and see and the time of year should be perfect weather for cruising and sightseeing. Our member up there, George, has lined up all kinds of things for us that will make this weekend exciting and worth the short 5 hr drive from DFW.

Sept 30 Friday 11am
-Meeting at the Shell station just East of Texas motor Speedway on the east side of I-35 at the intersection of 114. We’ll be eating lunch about an hour in to the drive then head on in to Amarillo.
-Check in to our host hotel, The Ashmore Inn and Suites
-Dinner at The Big Texan/Kabuki/On The Border, whichever is decided.

Oct 1 Saturday
-Breakfast
-Tour local Mopar collection
-Cruise Downtown
-Photos at Cadillac Ranch
-Palo Duro Canyon Tour
-Lunch in the Canyon
-Photos at Palo Duro
-Zip Line for the brave (need a picture of Wayne)
-Refresh at Hotel
-Amarillo Cruise Night
-Supper Big Texan/Kabuki/On The Border, whichever we didn’t do Friday night

Oct 2 Sunday
-Breakfast
-Pack up and head out
-Go by scenic east side of the Canyon for a great photo op
-Head home!
