Sep 08-10 Lake Tenkiller Cruise and Lake Extravaganza
September has us cruising up to Oklahoma and spending the weekend at Lake Tenkiller. Never heard of Lake Ten Killer? It’s amazing. Check it out here and then come back here and keep reading, and planning to come out with us! Wayne and D’Ann have a house there on the lake and have graciously offered to host all of us for the weekend. There will be a boat cruise, 2 Viper cruises, dinners, lunches, fellowship, fun, swimming, lake activities, fun, and, did I mention fun?! It’s going to be a lot of fun, plus, as stated below, a write up in Viper Quarterly!
Friday Sept 08
-cookout at Wayne and D’Ann’s Rauh lake home.
Saturday Sept 09
We’ll have a boat cruise on the lake followed by lunch. After lunch, we’ll head out on a 3 or 4 hour Viper cruise on some of the greatest roads with more than a few curves, hills, and spectacular views. Saturday night a group Dinner after dinner is open for whatever. We have invited our friends from from the Houston and South Central Texas chapters, plus our friends from the Sooner State, Oklahoma! We are hoping for a big turnout, Maurice is flying in from California to hang out with us so he can write up a story for the Viper Quarterly.
Sunday Sept 10
In the morning we’ll head out on another cruise for the ones that would like just a little more time on some great roads. We’ll then meet for lunch before heading home. For the folks that live in Texas you should be about 1 1/2 hours closer to home on the cruise is over.
We hope to see everyone there if you have any questions, please contact Wayne.
here is the information for lodging. I have blocked 20 rooms under North Texas Viper Club at the
Tenkiller Lodge. We could not get them to hold the block pasted August 10th, so please make your reservations before then. If not, I’m sure they would still work with you if you gave them a call and maybe let them come out and mercilessly rev your engine. To make your reservations call 918-453-9000 tell them you are with the North Texas Viper Owners, they quoted us a price of $77.00 per night.
